Special Note: This building has a 9,600sq.ft. basement that is in excess of 20’ below ground level. It also boasts 3 rooftop football fields and one swimming pool. Dunn’s Electricals boasts the largest surface area of epoxy flooring and countertops in the Caribbean; over 40,000sq.ft.

4GEN’s Role: Construction Manager

4GEN was invited to manage the construction of the Dunn’s Electrical New Wing project in its very early stages. Many of the elements of this massive structure were fairly new to Jamaica when this building was constructed and so a few issues needed to be resolved using pioneering application of existing technology. For instance, the football fields on the roof required atypical drainage solutions that needed to be efficient but still create tournament standard level playing fields. It was a pleasure to be a part of the team that erected this business mecca and well needed community intervention.
